Ben Hadley
Theatre Director
Hi, I'm Ben. I'm a theatre director, writer and performer. Much of my work has been produced by on the button (which I co-founded and run). I also improvise with the Present Company at the Free Association and Noise from the Attic. I live in London.
My work
Since 2008, I've worked in theatre - directing, writing, producing and performing in shows. From 2010 to 2012 I trained at the Jacques Lecoq theatre school in Paris. Since 2012, I have run my own theatre company, on the button. As a freelance theatre-maker, I have also worked at the Young Vic, the National Portrait Gallery, the Palais de Tokyo, the Gate Theatre, the National Theatre of Brittany and at the Edinburgh Fringe. I try to make work that is both playful and socially engaged.

Since the beginning of 2019, I have become interested in audio production and have started work on a couple of podcasts.

I am also a professional translator from French to English.
